We got our Active School Walkway up and running in 2023. As an Active School Flag committee, we aimed for it to be ready in time to be used throughout our Active School Week. We discussed our walkway and what route it should take at a committee meeting. Two students went outside with Patrick and measured the area of our walkway. Our walkway measures 352 metres from start to finish!

Through our Active School Walkway, we aim to energise our school day by walking before school, having more active break times, hosting various events using the walkway, using it for movement breaks and Active School Flag meetings and step challenges. We also hope to use our walkway during orienteering and to develop our fundamental movement skills.
