This week in the Language Room, some of our groups are exploring places through different activities. We thought about places we know and made our own maps showing different buildings and familiar areas. We shared our news and stories from the Easter holidays and thought about the places visited – we called them our ‘where words’. With the addition of a new projector in the language room, some children were able to go on a virtual adventure to cool places near and far. We visited playgrounds, cafes, jungles and even outer space! On our adventures, we used describing words to tell our friends about where we were.
