Hi all,

We are thanking our lucky stars that the weather stayed on our side yesterday for what, by all accounts here, was, in the words of a Senior Infant pupil I met this morning, ” THE BEST DAY EVERRRRR”! The children had a super day and as a staff we were so delighted to see their smiley happy faces from first thing in the morning to equally smiley yet exhausted faces at hometime! A sincere and heartfelt thanks to each and every pupil for putting in their best efforts to make the day so enjoyable, and of course to the staff, who once again went above and beyond to ensure the day was a success. I hope you enjoyed the photos on facebook, if you havent had a chance yet be sure to check them out….there’s quite a lot!

As you will be aware, the PTA have launched their fundraising challenge for July. We are looking forward a wonderful event for the whole school community to participate in and enjoy, with the added bonus/goal of raising €25,000 for the purchase of a set of ipads and software for use by ALL pupils in the school. Please be sure to contact the pta at pta.broombridge@gmail.com if you are interested in joining the committee for this event. 

Afterschool update:

Following many hours of conversations and discussion, the Board of Management have today finalized a lease agreement with the provider “School Kids Allowed”  to provide an afterschool service on site in the school hall starting from the end of August 2021.

All queries regarding afterschool should be forwarded directly to Anne & Jade, the Board/School office do not have any input on places etc.
