Land PAWS
Water Safety Ireland’s PAWS (Primary Aquatics Water Safety) outlines the essential life-saving guidelines that every child needs to know. Land PAWS allows children to learn basic water safety skills in the classroom. We complete Land PAWS in term three at Broombridge ETNS and are working on completing it in May and June 2023.
When each child has finished Land PAWS, their wealth of knowledge and newfound skills make them a PAWS HERO!
Senior Infants were busy earning their Land PAWS certificates. They learned about keeping safe at pools, beaches, farms and near rivers and canals. They worked hard to learn about what different beach flags meant and how we should always remember to be SAFE: Stay Away From Edges!
