Planting Cress, Easter Egg Art and The Gruffalo’s Child in 2nd Class Cnéalta!

Published by Broombridge ETNS on

We’ve had a very busy week in Second Class Cnéalta! As it is now Spring, we planted cress seeds together. We learned that plants need soil, water, air and sunlight to grow. We can’t wait to see what our plants look like when they’re fully grown. Then, in art, we made Easter eggs using paper and coloured cellophane. First, we had to cut out patterns in the eggs and then we stuck the coloured cellophane over them. It was a little difficult, but as you can see, they turned out great and we’re really proud of them! We’ve also been reading The Gruffalo’s Child recently and we designed some maps to show the journey that the Gruffalo’s Child takes in the story.
