On October 17th 2022, 4th and 5th class welcomed Olympian Phillip Doyle virtually into their classrooms. Phillip Doyle is an Irish rower who won silver alongside Ronan Byrne at the World Rowing Cup in 2021. Phillip currently rows with Belfast Rowing Club. 5th class learned about Phillip’s life before attending the Zoom call and brainstormed questions they would like to ask him if they ever met him. They enjoyed having a chance to ask Phillip their questions and to learn even more about his career as a rower.
